The Picasso Story, a new exhibition from ExpoNuevo GmbH, applies a unique exhibition concept. The goal is to take a unique artist and make him accessible to a contemporary public. We have chosen 20 th century genius Pablo Picasso. Our basic assumption is that many people lack the necessary historical context to understand a renowned artist like Picasso, which is why we present him within the context of his time. For instance, what was happening in the world when Picasso created his masterpiece Guernica? What were his attitudes, and what experiences formed those attitudes? What personal convictions molded Picasso, and influenced his works?
